Attorneys can answer questions related to repairs, CAM fees, terminating your lease, and navigating rent negotiations. Please note the consultations are only for 60 minutes and there is no ongoing attorney-client relationship.

Legal Consent
In signing up for the LSE Small Business Legal Clinic, you understand and agree to the following terms:
1. You are signing up to receive legal information, referrals and advice only from Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area (LCCRSF). LCCRSF is not agreeing to represent you in any matter and is not agreeing to appear for you in court or at a hearing, nor are any of the attorneys volunteering with LCCRSF at the event that you will attend agreeing to do so. You remain responsible for your legal issues unless you find an attorney who agrees to represent you.
2. Due to the short-term and limited nature of the legal services provided to you during the clinic event you signed up for, it is not possible for LCCRSF to systematically screen for conflicts of interest. By checking “I understand and agree,” you are informed, understand, and waive all unknown conflicts of interest that may arise while receiving limited legal services at the clinic.
3. Within the scope and duration of the legal advice you receive at the clinic event you sign up for, all communications are confidential. This means that we will not disclose any of the information you gave us during your in-person meeting, phone call or video call with the volunteer attorney to anybody outside LCCRSF.
