The Glide Unconditional Legal Services Clinic provides free legal advice and referrals, with the goal of giving information to anyone in need who walks through the door. Historically, we have served over 250 clients a year, over half of whom are homeless, and nearly 75% of whom are from minority communities.

The clinic is held in-person for walk-ins (first come, first serve and space is limited) at GLIDE Memorial Church (330 Ellis Street, San Francisco) on Mondays from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific time. The clinic does not operate on federal and state holidays and clients served at the clinic must be California residents and low-income.

NOTE that we no longer host virtual appointments over telephone/Zoom on Thursdays. All services are provided in person on Mondays at GLIDE.

NOTE that these appointments are only to discuss and evaluate legal needs, not to address legal issues or to create an ongoing lawyer-client relationship. Volunteer attorneys at the clinic can provide limited legal advice and referrals to other organizations for more specialized assistance. Volunteer attorneys at the clinic cannot provide representation or attend court, and their assistance will end after the appointment.
