Prior to LCCRSF, Charlene worked in operations and HR roles in multiple industries (retail and manufacturing) and started working in the nonprofit industry right before COVID. She served as the Operations Manager for St. Mary’s Center, a West Oakland-based nonprofit organization where she handled the operations of a homeless shelter, transitional housing, preschool, and case management programs. During her stay at St. Mary’s, the organization was awarded as 2021 Nonprofit of the Year by CalNonprofits. Her career goal is to provide expert solutions to nonprofit organizations and bring them to an exceptional administrative standard and maximize the impact to the community. She is a proud Filipina who immigrated to the United States in 2017. She appreciates craft beer and enjoys doing puzzles.
