Isha Mazumdar joined LCCRSF in July 2022 as a legal assistant for the Immigrant Justice Team. Prior to LCCRSF, Isha served as a paralegal casehandler for the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project and as a junior research scholar for NYU Law’s Center for Race, Inequality, and the Law. 

As the daughter of Indian immigrants, her personal and professional perspective is rooted in understanding the experiences of diasporas and conceptions of belonging. 

Isha is a New York University graduate who was born and raised in the Bay Area. She is honored to return home to serve her community.
