Marian Avila Breach

( she/her )

Summer Law Clerk 2024, Immigrant Justice

Marian is a rising third-year law student at UC Berkeley School of Law. Her dedication to public interest work ranges from work in criminal defense, promoting education within carceral settings, and providing access to immigration pathways. Having immigrated from Mexico at the age of four, Marian finds great personal fulfillment in working to uplift diverse immigrant narratives. More broadly, she is interested in intersectional work that advances racial and economic justice and aims to work in such after completing law school. In her downtime, Marian enjoys combing through the literature and sci-fi sections of local bookstores.
