Summer Law Clerk 2024, Economic Justice

Ricardo Parada is a rising third-year law student at UC Law SF, where he is currently a law clerk in the Social Enterprise & Economic Empowerment Clinic. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ricardo pursued his undergraduate studies at Occidental College in Los Angeles, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Latino/Latin American Studies. As a proud participant in the Legal Education and Opportunity Program (LEOP), a member of the First-Generation Program, and a Center for Business Law scholar, Ricardo seeks to infuse his passion for social justice and his background in community lawyering to support small businesses and social enterprises. In his free time, Ricardo can often be found strolling around Lake Merritt with his dog (a 7-year-old miniature pinscher/schipperke mix) or digging through crates to add to his growing vinyl record collection.
