SJ has joined the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of San Francisco team after recently graduating from Boston University, where she studied Psychological & Brain Sciences, and Sociology, while minoring in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Before joining LCCRSF, she was an HR Intern in the SF Bay Area at Cytokinetics and Kendo Brands, Inc., where she partnered with various HR teams to create new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, and partake in behind the scenes HR projects to help improve overall team efficiency.

As a Bay Area native, SJ is excited to further LCCRSF’s mission of dismantling current systems of oppression, while uplifting community members to create a more equitable space. In her free time, SJ enjoys baking, exploring local parks and gardens, and visiting local SF art museums
