On Thursday, February 15, 2024 the Bay Area legal community gathered in-person at San Francisco’s Hyatt Regency for the 37th Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards. The annual event and fundraiser celebrates the success of LCCRSF and our pro bono community partners in solving intractable local problems with national significance around racial, economic and economic justice. Together, we can renew our commitment to building a more equitable and just society by dismantling systems of oppression and racism. The proceeds from this event are critical to the organization’s ability to conduct its legal clinics and file high-impact litigation in solidarity with local movements of immigrants, asylum seekers, BIPOC and low-income individuals and grassroots partners.
